Our Story
Allow us to quickly take you trough our story and how Sanc. Michael was built.
Bringing a Medieval Tale to Life!
Pure nature, farm animals and many fun activities - a combination that unfortunately a lot of people don’t have access too.
That’s why we given ourselves a mission to build this unique attraction in the heart of Istria, where families could create many precious memories while enjoying the beautiful outdoors and medieval scenery of the past.
Named After the Guardian of Warriors
A long time ago, our land was named after the guardian of warriors, St. Michael. Inspired by his story and motivated to keep it alive, our kingdom's symbol was born, representing swords, fire, and Istrian goats.
Building the Main Castle
With that vision in their hearts, the whole Otocan family gathered and began their journey to making it a reality. Armed with tools and unrefined wood, they started to build something quite extraordinary! In the next 8 months the wooden castle and its 4 towers had risen from their hard work & dedication!
Fun fact:
Every medieval prop has been handcrafted. From rustic pottery in the restaurant to wooden shield, swords and even catapults in the arena!
Sanc. Michael: New Chapters
Today, In the heart of Istria, 3 km west of Svetvincenat, Sanc. Michael theme park represents a place where families come searching for adventures and craft their own medieval tales they will cherish forever.
While our vision came to life, now offering more than 15 medieval activities amongst 26,000 square meters of nature, this is only the beginning of our chapter. With each year passing, our little kingdom grows richer and expands with many new attractions!

Wasn't sure exactly what to expect but it was great fun. Horse riding, archery, catapults, tree house, animals and a fort with puzzles for clambering around. All good, kids absolutely loved it and the staff were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Are you open everyday?
During the summer season our theme park is open every day!
*April 1st - June 30th (Only weekends)
* July 1st - September 8th (Every day of the week)
*After September 9th (Only weekends)
* For groups (12+ people) or private events feel free to contact us anytime!
Open hours: 12:00 - 19:00h
Is there parking available on-site?
Yes! Sanc. Michael Theme Park is located right in front of the main gate when you arrive at the destination.
Should we reserve our tickets in advance?
Tickets are always available to purchase at our entrance when the park is open, but if you have any question or need further confirmation, feel free to contact us via social media, email or phone call!
We are always here to assist you in our best ways possible.
What food do you serve in the tavern?
In Sanc. Michael you can find various main and side BBQ dishes, hot / cold drinks, and ice creams.
All served in our handmade medieval rustic pottery for the complete experience!
Can we feed or pet the animals?
Please kindly don't feed the animals, as some food could hurt their diet and cause problems that will make our small kingdom and animals sad :(

Are there scary attractions the kids should avoid?
All attractions are kid-friendly & completely safe.
Although some kids may get slightly uncomfortable when visiting the witch's tower, please enter the tower with caution depending on your little ones.
